This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
"Life can deprive us of freedom, of health, of fortune, of friends, of family, of success, but cannot take away from us our thoughts or our imagination, and there is always love, music, art, flowers, and books. And the passionate interest in everything."
Arthur Rubinstein - "My Young Years" (Alfred Knopf 1973)
What more can be added to that? Not much at this moment. It's been a terrible year of loss and yet the layering of acquired knowledge, wisdom, and the fruit of imagination. And though I lost the most precious friend I had in the world, I gained back a certain part of myself. It's not exactly what I would call an even trade, but I am aware of it.
