September 11th Anniversary Gallery

I've put up about 100 images, as promised. No easy task, but a task I felt compelled to complete. The images now cover a year or so before the event to about three years after. Let us hope this event is the worst of its kind, from here on out. [link]

Great idea to make this photographic tribute to 9/11.
Didn't notice it before. Sorry.
It might be interesting to see this comments I found on the internet. One hour long, new theory about it all.

Well, thanks. But I wouldn't spend five seconds watching a film devoted to conspiracy theories. I was around Lower Manhattan for that whole period and know that what happened was simply a horrific tradgedy, brought upon by a carefully-planned attack which was, unfortunately, not thwarted in time.

Thanks. I understand. I watched it just being curious. I had not seen this particular evaluation about the buildings before. I'll have to watch it again, to put it all into perspective. For now, I also don't buy the theory that the 2 buildings were deliberately brought down. There would not be enough time to make that possible on the day of the explosion - it would have taken longer to coordinate that type of action. I don't think there was any conspiracy to make that happen - it just doesn't make common sense. I think as time goes by, more analysis will point out the hard evidence of how the towers fell. As for now, it's just too painful for me as for you to have to watch this series of events. It's still too over-whelming for me to take in.

Yes. Obviously, this is a deeply emotional issue for anyone who was in New York, in America, was American, is American, and so forth. But the idea that anyone would now suggest that impossible charges were planted in a crowded (50,000+) office complex - particularly high within the towers which covered an acre of ground (.4047 hectares) a piece and rose a quarter of a mile into the sky, is actually offensive. People love to conjure up conspiracy theories for any epoch which seems bigger than life or even seem impossible to the unaided brain (i.e. lunar landings, certain presidential assassinations, the Nazi Holocaust, the Pyramids, etc.). I never cease to be amazed and repelled by such conjuring. This is a far better documentary, which simply gives perspective on what this place was [link] ...Thanks for understanding. JS

hey. you joined! welcome.

Did you see Bush's address, yesterday was it, saying that they learned the terrorists had planted explosives in the towers?
